Лаконичность
В посольстве США за мной стояли сотрудники Microsoft Rus и была сказана такая фраза - "хорошо, что они не спрашивают, чем компания занимается". С намёком, что в двух предложениях не ответишь :)
Мне показалось это странным. Wiki:

может быть, ты просто не понял? :)
я, например, могу и в одном предложении суть своего диссера рассказать, но каждый раз, когда у меня это спрашивают и можно не отвечать, вздыхаю и говорю: давай в другой раз, ладно?
может их просто все спрашивают, и достало уже :)

Может быть, но там был пример, что кто-то на такой вопрос в прошлом долго отвечал :)

Есть просто такая вещь как Elevator statement

In business jargon an elevator statement (or elevator pitch) is a short concise and compelling statement about a business or a business situation that can be delivered in the time it takes for an imaginary elevator ride. It is intended to make use of a limited time opportunity to brief a senior manager, customer or potential investor.
